يتناول هذا البحث ظاهرة "تسليح الاعتماد المتبادل"، والتي تمثل تحولاً جذرياً في طبيعة الصراعات وحركة القوة في النظام الدولي المعاصر. فبدلاً من الاعتماد الحصري على القوة العسكرية التقليدية أو التدخلات المباشرة، تتجه القوى الكبرى نحو استغلال تموضعها الاستراتيجي داخل شبكات الاقتصاد العالمي، مثل الأنظمة المالية عبر الحدود، وسلاسل التوريد التكنولوجية، والبنى التحتية للاتصالات، لتحقيق أهداف جيوسياسية. يناقش البحث كيف تحولت العولمة، التي كان يُنظر إليها طويلاً على أنها أداة للسلام والتعاون وتقليص الفجوات بين الدول، إلى ساحة جديدة للمواجهة الصامتة. يُسلط الضوء على آليات السيطرة التي تمارسها الدول المركزية داخل هذه الشبكات لإكراه الدول الأضعف وتطويع سياساتها من خلال استراتيجيات الحرمان وجمع المعلومات. ويستند البحث في هيكليته إلى إطار نظري يحلل البنى التحتية للشبكات باعتبارها "نقاط اختناق" استراتيجية، مما يفرض واقعاً جديداً يعيد صياغة مفاهيم الردع، والسيادة، والأمن القومي في القرن الحادي والعشرين.
