الفساد ظاهرة خطرة جدا ويؤدي الى انهيار الدول والمجتمعات ويزيد الفقر وعدم المساواة فهو مرض ينخر مؤسسات الدولة ويمزقها ويوسع الفجوة بين المواطن والحكومة ويهدد الاستقرار السياسي والاجتماعي ويضعف السلم المجتمعي , ولمعالجة هذه المشكلة يجب ان نوفر اليات لمكافحة الفساد تعتمد تطبيق القانون وتعزيز الشفافية والتعاون الدولي على مستوى العالم وتثقيف المجتمع ورفع وعيه في مخاطر الفساد.
