Remote Litigation Is The Use Of Digital Technology To Facilitate Judicial Procedures Without The Need For Physical Presence In Court. This System Relies On The Use Of Electronic Platforms To File Lawsuits, Exchange Documents, Hold Court Sessions, And Issue Judgments Online. Remote Litigation Allows Judges, Lawyers, And Litigants To Conduct Judicial Processes Efficiently And Quickly, Which Contributes To Reducing Costs And Time.
The Advantages Of Remote Litigation Include Improving Access To Justice, Especially In Remote Areas Or For Individuals Who Face Difficulty In Moving. It Also Enhances Efficiency And Reduces Congestion In Courts. However, This System Faces Challenges Such As The Digital Divide, Cybersecurity Issues, And Difficulty In Accessing Technology For Some Groups. The Technical Means Used In Remote Litigation Include: Electronic Lawsuit Filing Platforms, Video Conferencing Applications, Electronic Signatures, And Digital Evidence Exchange Tools. To Develop This System, The Technical Infrastructure Must Be Strengthened, Legal Legislation Must Be Updated, And Lawyers And Judges Must Be Trained To Deal With Modern Technologies
